Good Times Roll at Rattlers Saloon

Bringing a taste of the Wild West to Main Street, Rattlers Saloon is serving up country-inspired hospitality, creative cocktails and plenty of good times in the heart of Mornington.

Created by the team behind Deadwood Dromana, Rattlers combines old-school hospitality with a lively atmosphere across two levels. Downstairs offers a relaxed country-bar setting, while upstairs, The Band Room invites guests to hit the dance floor. There are also outdoor spaces overlooking Main Street and a balcony, along with private areas available for functions and events.

Behind the bar, owners Liam Watt and Dan Green bring more than 20 years of hospitality experience and an impressive knowledge of whiskey. With over 150 varieties from around the world, there’s plenty for enthusiasts to explore. The cocktail menu embraces the venue’s Western personality, featuring creations such as the Outlaw’s Orchard, Broken Cowboy and Oklahoma Smokeshow.

In the kitchen, New Zealand-born head chef Jono draws on more than 30 years of international experience to deliver a menu packed with flavour. Standouts include baby-back pork ribs with south-west slaw and Cajun prawn tacos with smoked corn salsa.

There’s something happening throughout the week, from Monday Hospo Nights and weekday two-for-one cocktails to Dollar-Wing Wednesdays and $15 Taco Thursdays.

Whether it’s a casual drink, dinner with friends or a night of boot-scooting, Rattlers Saloon brings a little country spirit to Mornington’s Main Street.
