The Frankston community is invited to roll in and celebrate 20 years of skate culture, connection and creativity at the Frankston Skate Park 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday 18 April 2026.
Proudly presented by Peninsula Leisure, the milestone event will bring together past, present and future skatepark users to honour the people and stories that have shaped the much loved local space over the past two decades.
The free, family-friendly event will run from 12pm to 4pm and feature a full afternoon of entertainment and activities, including live music from Fresh Frankston, skate and BMX jams, community games, and a celebratory birthday cake.
A highlight of the day will be a community photo wall, showcasing memories and moments contributed by local skaters and riders, capturing the evolution of the skatepark since its opening.
Jade Cummins, Frankston Skate Park Coordinator, has worked at the Park for over 5 years and says the anniversary is a chance to recognise the strong sense of community built around the skatepark.
“This event is all about the people who have made Frankston Skate Park what it is today – a welcoming, inclusive and vibrant space for all,” she said.
“We’re proud to celebrate 20 years of connection, creativity and active lifestyles right here in Frankston.”

The event is open to everyone, with no bookings required.
