The ‘Mornington Peninsula Blues Sessions’ are back. The boutique, live Blues peninsula event, now in its fourth year, is attracting an enthusiastic following and returns on Saturday, July 16, at the Peninsula Community Theatre in Mornington.
It will feature four of Australia’s leading Blues artists – Jimi Hocking, Chris Wilson, Jesse Valach and Nick Charles – in an intimate setting and a unique format where each artist interchanges acoustically and electrically, supported by a special guest house band featuring Sweet Felicia and Tommy McEwan.
The theatre/nightclub feel of the venue allows Blues lovers to see these great artists in a rare, intimate experience. The venue will be have local wine and Red Hill Brewery supplying craft beer on tap. Finger food will be available for purchase with the exotic Afrofeast – African street food and delicious wood fired pizzas – in attendance.
