Anzac Day commemorations will be held across the Peninsula on Sunday, April 25, to mark the 106th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing. Mornington Peninsula Shire Council is encouraging the community to commemorate Anzac Day safely, so there are traditional dawn services, marches and remembrance services at different times and locations throughout the day. Anyone attending a service will be required to follow COVID-safe guidelines, and residents are advised there will be road closures in towns holding marches. For those preferring to watch the Melbourne dawn service and march from home, it will be livestreamed from 5.40am.
