Exhibition of Watercolour and Acrylic paintings

Michael Leeworthy is a seasoned gallery and commission artist. His work spans an unusually wide range of styles. Michaels works have been produced over many decades.

He first exhibited in The Herald Outdoor art show in 1967, selling his first ever work. His work hangs in collections in the UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, USA , Canada, New Zealand and Belgium.
He has been the recipient of various grants and prizes mainly on the Mornington Peninsula.
Murals include (MP Shire Grants ):
28 metres CFA water tank on Arthurs Seat Road
30 metres History Mural at the rear of the Red Hill Hardware facing the shared walking path.
50 metres Norm Clarke Walkway in Rosebud Mural, funded by the Chamber of Commerce.
Michael has worked with various schools on their own students mural projects. including The Red Hill Consolidated School, Mount Eliza Secondary, Dromana Secondary (various projects) as well as working with BERG on various projects including four schools project at the Balcombe Reserve.
He has worked with clients on ‘Work for the Dole” murals at the Hastings Hub.
He has received an award from the MP Shire in recognition of support to the Mornington Peninsula creative community 2013 (Andrea Ebsworth).

Current projects include illustrating 25 poems for the next edition of Poets Corner Anthology.
