Throughout January, Baluk Arts is inviting visitors and locals to join it for a cultural experience.
Enjoy a cup of Australian native-infused teas from Jala Jala while browsing our latest exhibition of coastal and summer theme works. The young ones can sit in Kids Corner learning about, and colouring-in, cultural images. On Fridays, enjoy Story Time with Sammy, reading from Aboriginal children’s books.
Come and chat with our artists and watch them as they each showcase their cultural practices on different days throughout January; their works will be available for sale.
If you’d like to listen to stories of Country by Taungwurrung artist Sammy Trist while creating a gift card to take home, you can book a spot at one of our workshops.
Whether you are visiting from the city or overseas, or you’re a local who’d like to know more about Kulin Culture, we’d love you to visit and immerse yourself at Baluk Arts.
