Police have arrested three people after allegedly finding drugs and suspected stolen goods while executing a search warrant at a short-term rental house in Frankston North this morning.

Victoria Police reported that detectives from the Frankston Crime Investigation Unit arrested two men and a woman at a Rosemary Cres address about 1.20am and subsequently searched the house, locating what was alleged to be GHB and cannabis. They also allegedly discovered mobile phones and a large amount of tools, all believed to be stolen.

A 29-year-old Carrum Downs man has been charged with trafficking GHB, possessing a drug of dependence, possessing proceeds of crime, contravening bail conditions, committing an indictable offence while on bail, and breaching the Chief Health Officer’s directions. He was remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates Court later today.

A 27-year-old Mount Martha man has been charged with possessing cannabis and GHB, possessing proceeds of crime, handling stolen goods and breaching the Chief Health Officer’s directions. He was bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates Court on July 7 next year.

A 26-year-old Frankston North woman was interviewed and released pending further inquiries.
