When summer hits, that means only one thing for foodies: barbecue time! Here’s something a little different to inspire your next barbecue feast and delight your guests.
BBQ Corn Tahini Butter
Time: 15 minutes
½ cup Mayver’s Hulled Tahini
¼ cup warm water
1 clove of garlic
1tbsp of lemon juice
Pinch of chilli powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Set your barbecue to high. Hull the corn and cook for 10 minutes, rotating the cobs often so the corn starts to soften and char.
To make the tahini butter, place all ingredients in a blender and blend for two to three minutes until you achieve a very thick, buttery consistency.
Remove the corn from the barbecue and spread the tahini butter generously over each cob.
Sprinkle with a little bit of chilli powder and extra salt and pepper.
