Red Gum BBQ is excited to announce it will be reopening its big roller doors for restaurant dining from Wednesday, June 3!

Red Gum BBQ is blessed with two spacious dining areas to accommodate the maximum of 20 guests currently allowed in each space. The main dining area will feature house favourites on a set menu, while guests opting to dine in the private dining room will enjoy a four-course barbecue experience with the opportunity to match their food to a selection of Mornington Peninsula wines or craft beers.

The main dining room menu will include such delights as smoked grass-fed brisket, free-range pulled pork, mac’n’cheese, and honey butter cornbread. The private dining room menu will include Georgia favourite Brunswick stew, southern-fried chicken with dipping sauces, beef ribs, mash and greens, and bread and butter pudding. Sittings in each dining area will be limited to one and a half hours for each party. Bookings are essential and can be made online.

If you’re not ready to dine in yet, let Red Gum BBQ come to you. There are takeaway and delivery options that will satisfy every taste – just order your southern sides online and let Red Gum BBQ do the rest. Delivery areas include Mount Eliza, Mornington, Mount Martha, Safety Beach, Dromana, Rosebud, Red Hill and Main Ridge.

Opening hours are Wednesday and Thursday 11am-8pm, Friday and Saturday 11am-9pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm.

Local tradies are just a call away

Since June last year, we’ve been highlighting the many talented tradies across the Peninsula and Greater Frankston area in our Trades To You features. Now we’ve decided to make them a regular part of Mornington Peninsula Magazine in a directory format. What can we say? It’s been received so well with the community coming together to support local, you could almost say we hit the nail on the head.

Fundraiser celebrates and supports women

Last year was undoubtedly one of the most difficult for many Peninsula businesses, yet charities that rely on donations and fundraising to continue their work were struck even harder.
With this in mind, SMART Business Solutions CEO and Committee for Mornington Peninsula president Shannon Smit decided International Women’s Day would be the perfect time to turn things around and bring the business community back together for a common cause.
