Each year, Yo-Ko Original Boutique owner Annie Spoelder recognises International Women’s Day, and while it might be an ‘international’ event, it gives her the chance to thank and celebrate the women within her own circle and community and in her life.
“I place great value on the relationships I share with my customers and the women who live in my area,” Annie said. “Every woman has a story; sometimes that story is tinged with sadness, hardship and struggle; and sometimes with joy and new beginnings.
I so admire the tenacity and strength these women have to not only face what it is they have to face, but who so often do that with courage and grace.
“Your capacity as women to embrace life in all its fullness gives me reason to thank and honour each and every one of you.
