The new ‘I DO’: A day beyond compare

Some weddings follow tradition. Others follow expectations. Maria and Ari chose neither. Instead, they created a union on their terms: unconventional, unrepeatable, unforgettable.

In Santorini, where sky meets sea, the horizon became their altar. This was love, immortalised in a breathtaking way on top of the world, exactly where they belonged. In that stillness, sealed with a kiss, time paused … just for them.

The gown took centre frame, its lines echoing Grecian drapery. “My vision was to channel Aphrodite, a true Goddess presence. I knew I didn’t want an expected bridal look; it wasn’t me as a person or as a designer,” shares Maria.

The couple moved hand in hand as the island transformed into a cinematic living editorial. Impossible to overlook, they drew a hush of attention as travellers paused and cameras lifted. Wearing her silk masterpiece in signature blue, its precision-cut slit and sweeping train crowned by the piercing brilliance of her tiara and jewels, she moved with effortless command in her iconic Yves Saint Laurent stilettos, echoing Tiffany-coded elegance. The scene felt less like contrived style theory and more like a high-fashion coup executed with flawless precision.

Their celebration continued at sea aboard the luxury Royal Caribbean, where the experience became legend, a towering cake of impossible scale, a story carried across oceans, and a sense of being honoured everywhere they went.
