Being the owner of Talking Hens as well as a mum keeps Giuliana Postregna pretty busy, but it comes with lots of benefits too.
“Variety is one of the many things I enjoy about my work, which can range from organising events such as our annual open days and workshops to bookkeeping, dealing with suppliers and creating new products,” Giuliana said. “I particularly enjoy chatting with our customers. I learn a great deal from their experiences with their hens and any challenges they face.
“Another joy is the time spent with my daughter with her after-school activities.
“I know that with passion, hard work and a willingness to learn, great progress can be made. There will be many experiences both good and bad that provide real benefit and growth.
With every challenge I ask myself: What did I learn from this experience and what can I do differently next time?”
