Pilates with Purpose and Connection

For those who come through the doors of W Method, it is more than a Pilates studio; it is a place to build strength and reconnect, both physically and mentally.

For long-time client Tegan, above right, this has proven especially true. Months after giving birth to her son in 2020, she was diagnosed with liposarcoma in her left femur. What followed was major surgery, radiotherapy and two years of rehabilitation. She was left in constant pain and told she would never run again. In 2022, she experienced pregnancy loss and reached what she describes as her lowest point.

Encouraged to try something new, Tegan walked into W Method and was met with warmth, care and understanding. Through a mix of Reformer, Matwork, Barre and Sculpt classes, she began to explore movement again at her own pace, guided by expert instructors who listened and programmed with care.

Three years on, Tegan has welcomed a baby girl into her family and says she has never felt stronger. “Pilates has helped me rebuild my body, reconnect with myself, and find both strength and calm,” she says.

Her experience reflects W Method’s belief in movement that meets people where they are, with a focus on strength, care and connection. Discover our Signature Experience Pass: five classes over 10 days for $50.
