Our focus is on producing high-quality organic products for home gardeners, professional growers, landscapers, nurseries, schools, community gardens and anyone looking to improve the health and productivity of their soil.
What makes Clyde Compost different is our approach to quality. We don’t believe great compost can be rushed. Our compost is matured for 6-12 months, allowing time for the natural composting and curing processes to develop a stable, mature product that supports healthy soils and thriving plants.
We carefully select the organic materials that go into our compost, including quality cow, sheep and horse manures, agricultural straw, lucerne, and matured hardwood and softwood shavings. Just as importantly, we are very conscious of what doesn’t go into our products.
Clyde Compost does not contain domestic or commercial green waste or food waste. Our philosophy is simple:

Every batch of Clyde Compost is independently tested by the Environmental Analysis Laboratory at Southern Cross University, a NATA-accredited laboratory operating to ISO/IEC 17025 standards. This independent testing provides confidence in the quality and consistency of our products.
