Rachel Bennett has come an impressively long way in her short hospitality career.
With a diploma in Hospitality Management and Business Management as well as Certificates III and IV in Commercial Cookery, the 34-year-old has risen from a chef in 2014 to head chef at Iron River Bar & Grill in 2016 under the previous owner to owning and running the popular Frankston establishment since 2019.
Growing up between Tullamarine and the Yarra Valley, Rachel worked in various roles at multiple pubs, clubs, and fine dining venues both front and back of house, developing a deep passion for the fast-paced nature and challenges of the hospitality industry.
She hopes to one day expand her career either by joining a hotel chain or pursuing international opportunities.
