After moving to the Mornington Peninsula in March 2021, Tracy Austin decided to share her love of natural fibres and inclusivity in fashion.
What started as a rack of merino possum knitwear at Dromana Indoor Market grew into Detendu’s outlet store. Such was the response that Tracy established a pop-up at McCrae Plaza for summer in 2023 and moved into her permanent space in Rosebud in March last year.
Detendu’s range of fashions includes Australian brands Orientique, Rubyyaya, Lulalife, Lulasoul, Ibiza, Carbon, and Bridge & Lord, and international labels Noble Wilde, Ireland Eye, Trelise Cooper, Stella + Gemma, Dolcezza, URBAN, and Maloka.
“We love giving customers an opportunity to buy new at affordable prices and are proudly a size-inclusive store, with sizes 6-24,” Tracy said.
