Business awards affirm Netfocus IT’s direction

After two decades delivering exceptional tech solutions to businesses and consumers, 2025 has emerged as the most defining moment yet for Netfocus IT.

Led by Jason and Elizabeth McDonald, Netfocus IT’s true power of aligning purpose, professional maturity and strategic partnerships was showcased at the FBC Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Business Awards, winning Business of the Year with runner-up honours for Excellence in Education and Collaboration & Partnerships.

These accolades signal the success of a renewed direction after a move to Frankston’s Wells Street in 2023, where their dynamic Tech Service Centre is not just observing the district’s cultural shift, it’s actively shaping it. As business specialists as well as Apple Authorised Service Providers and Resellers, this expertise adds significant value to locals seeking trusted help, but the impact extends far beyond IT.

Initiatives like the Wells St. Windows are redefining the shopfront experience, transforming it into a vibrant platform for industry-led projects. Collaborations have included student groups from Toorak College and Chisholm Institute, partnerships with Frankston City Council’s festival program, and a September MSFIN donation drive that rallied extraordinary generosity for families in crisis.

“We’re at a point where ‘giving back to give forward’ is non-negotiable,” Elizabeth said. “If small businesses want to thrive alongside the district’s projected growth, the time to start that mindset shift is now.

“I watch our team deliver real impact daily – not just to businesses, but to real people navigating life’s challenges alongside tech. Without that and our partnership network, the ‘extra’ would not be possible.”
