A new culinary chapter at Crittenden

Nestled among the vines at Dromana, Crittenden has long been known for cool-climate wines and genuine hospitality. Now the Crittenden family invite you to discover its newest chapter – a contemporary restaurant that brings the essence of the Mornington Peninsula to your plate.

Established by Margaret Crittenden in the 1990s, the space has been tastefully renovated by the second generation – siblings Rollo and Zoe, together with Rollo’s wife Linda – into a fresh dining destination set to be one of the Peninsula’s hottest openings and a must-visit this summer.

Head chef Brunno Melo has created a menu made for sharing, featuring dishes such as half barrel swordfish, 48-hour slow-cooked pork belly, and cartel-style fried squid. Thoughtful pairings with Crittenden’s French, Spanish and Italian-inspired wines make it easy to enjoy the complete experience.

Whether it’s a casual lunch, relaxed dinner or special celebration, the restaurant offers a range of inviting spaces. From the main dining room and covered deck to the more laid-back alfresco terrace – where walk-ins are welcome – every corner is framed by the calm of the lake and vineyard, complemented by the warm, attentive service the family is known for.

Ensure you leave time before or after your meal to enjoy a seated tasting of the family’s award-winning wines. And for those wishing to linger longer, the self-contained Lakeside Villas perched over the lake offer a tranquil retreat.

The restaurant is open daily for lunch and on Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner, with increased sittings over the holiday period. See the website for full opening hours and booking information.

Discover exceptional dining, relaxation and a sense of connection at Crittenden.
