Community organisations in Dunkley are invited to apply for grants of between $5000-$12,000 to improve their energy efficiency.
Dunkley federal Labor MP Peta Murphy said the Dunkley Powering Communities Program would help groups cut their energy bills. The grants can be used to buy solar panels and battery storage, replace non-LEDs with LED lighting, upgrade old airconditioners and hot water heaters, and other activities.
Interested organisations should phone Ms Murphy’s office on 9781 2333 or visit www.petamurphy.net to receive an expression of interest form. Grant applications close on May 7.
