Detectives are appealing for witnesses to help identify two men involved in an affray in Frankston on August 15. Investigators said three men arrived at a Corlett St address in a white van about 3pm. The men, allegedly armed with weapons, smashed the windows of a house and vehicle, causing extensive damage, before they fought with a fourth man who was allegedly armed with a weapon. The driver of the van and the two unidentified suspects fled in the van.

Search warrants were executed in Bittern and Frankston and three men were arrested. A 21-year-old Bittern man was charged with affray, assault-related charges, weapon offences and criminal damage and was remanded in custody to appear at Frankston Magistrates Court on October 28. A 28-year-old Frankston man was charged with affray and possessing firearms and has since been convicted. A 23-year-old Pakenham man was released without charge.

Police have released CCTV footage of the incident and a description of two men they are yet to speak with and who may be able to help with their inquiries. The first is believed to be Caucasian in appearance, aged between 19 and 25, of medium build, with a large tattoo on his right calf. He was wearing a blue hoodie with a long white T-shirt underneath, grey shorts, white shoes and a black hat. The second is described as 19-25, thin, with an olive complexion. He was wearing a grey hoodie with a white T-shirt underneath, shorts, a black beanie and a black face mask.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could help identify the two men is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or log on to www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
