The 2016 event is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet, with an “all killer, no filler” line-up of more than 80 local and international acts. There’s craft beer, regional produce and accommodation from beachside B&Bs and historic hotels to camping. For Peninsula residents, there are special ferry deals, check out

Australian ‘90s indie pop darlings Killing Heidi will reunite at the festival for their first show in 10 years. A festival goer herself, Ella Hooper says: “We’ve been asked to perform live many times over the years and have always declined. But it just goes to show – never say never. To join such a stellar line-up at this year’s Queenscliff Music Festival is the perfect way to return to the stage for us.”

The artist announcements have been flowing, including news that international stars Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals will bring the band’s first new album in eight years ‘Call It What It Is’ to Queenscliff. Paul Kelly & Charlie Owen will present songs from a new collaboration and Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos will play songs from Garrett’s forthcoming solo album ‘A Version of Now’ featuring an all-star band including Abbe May, Martin Rotsey (Midnight Oil), Mark Wilson (Jet) and Peter Luscombe (Rockwiz, Paul Kelly).

The legendary Australian band george will reform to play their first shows in 11 years; musical comedy trio The Doug Anthony Allstars will bring their new show Near Death Experience; the Pierce Brothers will perform songs from their Top 10 Aria Chart EP Into The Dirt; and Melbourne’s Jordie Lane returns from LA with a new record and his new band The Sleepers. There’s Sweet Jean, Eilen Jewell (USA), Geoff Achison & The Souldiggers and many more.

Festival director Andrew Orvis says: “Turning 20 is a major milestone and we’re really excited about the festival this November. We’ve assembled a fantastic program to celebrate the occasion. Queenscliff is more than just the music though… It’s about great shows, comfy surrounds, a family friendly vibe, yummy food and drinks, all in the beautiful historic Queenscliff. This is a 20th anniversary party you don’t want to miss!”

Organisers are predicting a sell-out, so head to to book your tickets.
