Mornington Peninsula tourism operators showcased the very high quality and diversity of their visitor experiences when eleven businesses enjoyed spectacular success at the 2015 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards on Monday 16 November.

As longstanding supporters of the awards, the Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism team was proud to see such a rich field of entrants with 13 nominations from the region, eight of whom won Gold Awards and three more were recognised as Finalists. Of the winners, three businesses were also inducted into the Victorian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame, winning Gold in their category for three consecutive years.

“It is terrific to see the industry embrace the spirit of co-operative competition and come together to celebrate the best Victoria has to offer.” said Tracey Cooper, Chairman, Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board.  “We honour the region’s 2015 business category winners; Aquabelle Apartments, Harmony Bed & Breakfast, Wine Food Farmgate, Green Olive at Red Hill, Stillwater at Crittenden, Peninsula Hot Springs, Enchanted Adventure Garden, and Searoad Ferries”.

“The Mornington Peninsula Tourism Industry continues to evolve and these awards play a critical role in Mornington Peninsula’s growth as a tourism destination. It is fantastic to see the region represented and awarded in such a positive and prolific way,” concluded Ms Cooper.
