Many of Manyung’s artists will be passing through during the day and Red Hill artist Stuart Westle will be painting throughout the afternoon, giving you the chance to converse with a creator who has been painting for more than 40 years.
Sculptor Charles Wilcox’s work comes from a place of adventure, spontaneity and connection with the Earth. This self-proclaimed driftwood, reclaimed iron, flotsam and jetsam ‘junkie’ regularly travels to the Cape York Peninsula in search of objects that have lost their way and they all play a part in his organic ocean-inspired sculpture, while his graphic designed-based women on corrugated iron and historical newspaper clippings float seductively.
A pianist will be providing the background music to this interactive and very creative arts event. Enter with eyes wide open.
April 28 ties in with On The Map throughout the Mornington Industrial Estate.
