PLOS Musical Productions is pleased to introduce the ‘Banks Family’. The family is the cornerstone of the story and the children Jane and Michael are instrumental in bringing the story of Mary Poppins to life as they visit the many London landmarks with Mary Poppins and Bert.

They welcome to the company Lenny Thomas in the role of Michael Banks. Lenny is nine years old and attends primary school in Chelsea. He is joined in the role of Jane Banks by Felicity Bertram who attends Woodleigh School. Both have brought great maturity and a cheeky sense of fun to these important roles as they sing dance and act their way through the rehearsal period.

They can’t wait to hit the Frankston Arts Centre stage in early January. The adults involved inPLOS are enthralled by their performances. Completing the family are the parents George and Winifred Banks played by Daniel Ginsberg and Lauren Elise. Both bring a wealth of musical theatre experience to the production. Daniel Ginsberg while being the director of some of their past shows including Legally Blonde and The Addams Family, last performed on stage in the PLOS production of Oliver! Lauren has performed in many shows with companies around Victoria and previously performed the role of Fantine in our production of Les Miserables.

The magical story of the world’s favourite Nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane will be triumphantly and spectacularly brought to the stage with dazzling choreography, incredible effects, beautiful sets and costumes and unforgettable songs.

Join PLOS for the limited season opening on New Year’s Eve at Frankston Arts Centre. Ticketsavailable for all shows but secure your tickets quickly as they are selling fast for this production that is one not to miss. What a wonderful production for the holidays.
