The vibrant Rye Foreshore Market, now located at the Carnival site beside the Rye Pier, has been a much-loved part of the Mornington Peninsula community for more than 20 years. Operating as a traditional ‘Make, Bake and Grow’ market, it features locally made products, home-baked treats, fresh produce, plants, artisan crafts and unique gifts, offering visitors the chance to meet the makers behind the products.
Organised entirely by volunteers from the Rotary Club of Rosebud-Rye, every dollar raised through stallholder fees is reinvested into local community service projects, charities and initiatives that benefit the Peninsula. Set against the picturesque foreshore, the market provides a relaxed atmosphere where locals and visitors can browse, shop local and enjoy one of the region’s favourite community markets.
