Two men have been arrested after a stabbing in Rosebud overnight left a 28-year-old Rye man in hospital with serious injuries.
Police said the victim was sitting in a vehicle on Rosebud Pde just after 11pm when he was flagged down by two men. The victim got out of his car and a verbal altercation took place before he was allegedly stabbed multiple times in the upper body. The victim then ran to a nearby licensed venue on Eastbourne Rd before the two men fled.
Police later arrested a 24-year-old Capel Sound man and a 23-year-old Tootgarook man over the incident.
