Frankston Arts Centre is inviting youngsters aged 4-12 to experience the fun of Hot Arts for Cool Kids when Cube 37 is transformed into a giant room full of interactive art activities using recycled materials.
The theme is Rainbow, so come dressed in your favourite rainbow colours and get ready to create. And because getting messy can be part of the fun, it’s recommended you bring an art smock or wear old clothes.
Frankston resident Helen James said her daughters Stella, 6, and Hazel, 4, were excited to take part. “It’s a great opportunity for them to be fully immersed in art and craft as well as using materials that I don’t have at home,” Ms James said.
Hot Arts for Cool Kids is on Wednesday, January 13, from 12.30-2pm; Thursday, January 14, and Friday, January 15, from 9.30-11am and 12.30-2pm; and Saturday, January 16, from 9.30-11am. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and with limited capacity the venue may not be able to accommodate more than one adult per child. Those who would like to bring an extra adult should contact FAC.
Tickets are $15 for a child with the accompanying adult admitted free. For bookings and more information, visit www.thefac.com.au or phone 9784 1060.
