Fancy a walk to clear your head, chat with friends and improve your physical and mental health? Each Wednesday from next week, November 10, The Happiness Hunter is inviting you, your friends and family to meet at the front of Lilo café at 1/725 Esplanade, Mornington, at 9am for a one-hour walk along the beach, with an optional coffee to follow. The walks are free but you must register online or phone 1300 921 478.

According to mindset and well-being specialist and The Happiness Hunter founder Fiona Redding, walking with friends is a great way to build community as well as improve your health and well-being. “This walk is a space for connection in the local community, providing an opportunity to get out in nature, do some exercise, reframe your thinking and recharge your mind, body and soul,” Fiona said.

“It’s a great way to kick off your Wednesday, connect with others on a much deeper level, move your body, still your mind, have weekly accountability and support, to learn from others and to open your mind to new beliefs and different points of view. It’s a space for us to connect to ourselves and the truth of who we are, with each other and with nature.”

The walk is designed for people of all ages and fitness levels. It will be led by Beth Warren, a business owner and meditation teacher who said she was inspired by The Happiness Hunter philosophy and happy that she could work towards her own fitness goals while giving something back to her community. “There is something very therapeutic about walking in nature and talking with like-minded people,” Beth said. “I have personal fitness goals that I want to achieve, and I also love gathering a group of people who want to get out in nature, extend their community, create positive connections and improve their well-being.”
