Owner Loïc was born in the southwest of France, and since moving to Australia he has loved making the food he grew up on for his friends and family. In 2017, Loïc and his wife Kirsty spent six months in France, where he researched and worked before returning and opening Le Capucin in Portsea.
With a standout team, Le Capucin have been making fresh and frozen, small batch take-home meals since then and are now offering them online. The meals are prepared in-house using quality ingredients and their own stocks. They are then frozen immediately, allowing you the convenience of reheating them when you wish.
As well as providing a pick-up service, Le Capucin will deliver take-home meals FREE to residents of Portsea, Sorrento and Blairgowrie for orders over $50. Order by noon and you’ll receive your meals the same day.
The full menu, which can be viewed on Le Capucin’s Facebook and website, includes such delicious meals as coq au vin, boeuf bourguignon, cassoulet, tomates farcies and house-made pies.
Loïc, Kirsty and the team would like to thank you for your ongoing support, and to anyone discovering Le Capucin for the first time: “Bienvenue (welcome)!”
