Located at Coleman Park on the ever-popular foreshore at 1380 Point Nepean Rd, Rosebud, the Cabaret Cathedral is a state-of-the-art urban theatre space purpose-built exclusively for another Jason Coleman premiere event.
Jason and his crew will treat the coastal community to an extravagant, lavish and unforgettable experience – the age-old art form of cabaret set in a contemporary, captivating and modernised venue.
The theatre itself is a world-first – a custom-engineered, four-level, 280-seat theatre created entirely from repurposed shipping containers. Designed by Jason and his team of talented artisans, the concept was derived from his desire to move away from ‘traditional’ theatres and provide a unique, fully transportable space that can bring the magic of live performance to the people. The carefully chosen name Cabaret Cathedral came from Jason’s combined love of cabaret, art and contrast.
The owner of Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, the largest dance enterprise in the world, Jason has added the Cabaret Cathedral to his impressive list of world firsts.
Jason Coleman’s The Rhythm of Life is the epitome of world-class cabaret. Stylish, surprising and sophisticated, it stars Jason and an incredible international cast in a lavish collection of cabaret, circus, dancing and singing. It’s on from December 8-January 29, Tuesday-Sunday at 6.30pm and 9pm*
Meanwhile, Jason’s The Humanimals is an epic all-human animal experience for the whole family. It’s on from December 29-January 29, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 1pm*
