Is it possible to feel good during lockdown? That’s affirmative

Residents can get involved by commenting on the photos or by posting their own affirmations, using the hashtag #FeelGoodFrankston. “You can choose your own affirmation or search online for one you like. This is a simple way to connect with each other while COVID-19 restrictions are in place. Being kind to yourself is therapeutic, and sharing these messages means they can benefit other people as well.”

Affirmations could include:

• Today I choose to seek joy;
• Do what you love;
• The most important person to forgive is yourself;
• I am evolving and learning every day;
• I am enough; and,
• I accept who I am right now.

For more ideas and to get involved, visit the council’s Facebook page or search #FeelGoodFrankston on Facebook.
