Taking place in the heart of Mt Eliza Village, February 6, will be the Mt Eliza Music Festival, showcasing over 50 musical acts and performers over the day & night.
Artists will include local and guest talent from across Melbourne including bands, DJs, solo acts, duos and buskers. Performances will take place across 15 venues in the town centre as well as outdoors on the Village Green stage and various busking spots throughout the town.
There will be a broad selection of musical genres represented on the day from folk, roots, indie, rock, jazz and blues to funk, soul, world, indigenous, disco & house music.
This is a FREE day time event with a variety of dinner packages and shows taking place in selected restaurants and cafes in the evening. During the day, the Village Green stage will host festival headliners Woodlock and Tash Sultana while Nick Barker and Geoff Achison, will join a selection of folk and rock acts in the Canadian Bay Hotel from 1pm onwards, entry totally FREE.
A variety of market stalls will line the streets while roving performers dance through the village creating a magical festive atmosphere. Children’s activities including musical workshops and a kid’s disco will be on offer, and of course Mt Eliza’s own shopping precinct will be open for visitors to explore.
Selected venues will be offering dinner packages and shows in the evening and tickets for these will be available for purchase at the website. Lounge Three 87 will be throwing a House Party with wine tasting and finger food inclusive while Three Wild Ducks will be doing Tapas and DJs.
