How great is this? There’s a new adventure playground in the neighbourhood and you’re going to want to spend some serious holiday time enjoying what they have to offer.
The Big Goose in Moorooduc has been open a couple of months and is set to be one of the family friendly destinations on the Peninsula. There is the petting barn where you’ll learn how to feed and handle Guinea pigs, baby chicks, goats and lambs, or you can fly high on a giant jumping pillow or get lost in the two story tyre maze. Helmets are provided with all pony rides or hitch a ride on a tractor and see the sights of the farm –think cows, camels, ostriches, goats and a bunch of other animals in their natural habitat. You can even have a go at mini golf or explore the double decker truck!
This cute and friendly kid’s farm focuses on safety, fun and getting together outdoors in the sun. Attention to detail means nothing has been overlooked. There’s wheelchair access, a disabled toilet, two baby change tables and even a microwave in case that bottle needs to be heated. (You can even smoke in the car park.) The grounds are pram friendly and the café sells tea/coffee, toasted sandwiches, hotdogs and donuts. Of course you can bring your picnic with you and set up on one of the tables, in the rotunda or stretch out on the grass while enjoying all that great fresh Moorooduc air!
The Big Goose’s mission is to ‘Love our animals, entertain families and have fun’. All their fury friends’ pens are cleaned every week and facilities are squeaky clean and the thirteen staff members are on hand to make your day something to remember. Open seven days a week.
Don’t be a goose and miss it.
