Except for a little maintenance, Flinders Sourdough has remained open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to produce its delicious organic sourdough bread.
The historic Flinders bakery was restored in 2011 by Margaret and David, winemakers turned sourdough makers who employ traditional methods – including a 1940s twin-arm dough mixer that replicate a baker’s hands – to craft authentic sourdough bread in their traditional wood-fired Scotch oven.
The Flinders Sourdough team bake mouthwatering bread and a range of seasonal treats. Pop down and say hello one weekend, and remember to practise social distancing from the other customers.
Flinders Sourdough is open Friday-Sunday from 9am-4pm.
