Stellar is a premium outdoor film festival being held on Saturday, March 3, on the lawns of the stunning McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery in Langwarrin – home to more than 100 sculptures in 16ha of spectacular bushland.
Stellar will showcase the best Australian short films from 2017, with entries by invitation only. Films will compete on the night for prizes, with winners selected by a panel of industry judges, as well as an audience choice award. The charismatic Stellar MC for the evening will be writer/actor/producer/director Scott Major, known to legions of Australians for his prolific career in television, film and theatre.
For $75, general admission ticket holders will relax with an afternoon of musical entertainment, play lawn games or wander around the sculpture park before enjoying the films and their gourmet picnic pack, including a delicious filled baguette, two salads and a bottle of water.
VIP ticket holders ($150) will indulge in a cocktail-style dinner party with drinks before the screenings, plus receive a gourmet show bag, have access to the indoor gallery, a VIP bar, special entertainment, reserved seating, and an invitation to the Stellar after-party.
There’ll be a mini dessert market featuring local producers, as well as a selection of wines, beers, and coffee available for purchase.
Tickets are on sale now and make the ultimate ‘Stellar’ Christmas present. Visit stellarshortfilmfestival.com.au for details.
