The popular cosplay competition is again expected to be a highlight of next month’s TGF.

Chisholm’s Tech Games Fest will be held virtually during the school holidays from June 26-28. Now in its seventh year, TGF is an opportunity for secondary school students, their parents and the public who are interested in gaming and technology to learn and network with other like-minded people and industry representatives and get information about a career in the information and communication technology industry.

TGF is free to attend online and will feature gaming, networking, programming, virtual reality, ethical hacking, pop culture, card and board games, e-sports tournaments, video games, talks from industry sponsors and more, including the popular cosplay competition.

“TGF is a place where anyone can go, find out about the latest technology, feel part of a community, and get ideas of where they could go in their career or what they could be connected to,” said TGF co-ordinator Andrew Owen. “Chisholm is the ideal place for TGF because of its courses and its feel and approach to ICT-related fields.”

There are also opportunities for students to take part in TGF as volunteers or placement for work experience. TGF is on from 10am-6pm each day, and registration is essential. The event is open to the public; children under 14 will need parental or guardian consent to attend. Further information and booking details are available online.
