Cooee Café, which was named the overall winner of the 2020 Best Bites People’s Choice Awards, is the Peninsula’s only Indigenous eatery.

At Cooee Café you will find not only regular Australian dishes but also authentic Indigenous flavours and foods, such as its famous kangaroo burger, popular lemon myrtle slice, and Waddi Springs bottled water. And if you look closely at the menu on the website you will discover some wonderful Indigenous flavours.

On Wednesdays and Fridays you can also order Vietnamese pork belly rolls, or perhaps you might like to take home a ready-made meal to keep in the freezer for those nights when you just can’t be bothered cooking. Ready-made meals cost $9 and are available each day until sold out.

If you’re strapped for time or would prefer to not go into the café, call your order through and the team will bring it out to your car, where you can pay contactless with your credit card.

Open Monday to Friday from 6am-2pm, Cooee Café is currently not accepting cash, but the sensational food and great coffee always come with a free smile!
