With the excitement of Christmas now behind us, finding engaging activities for the kids in the long stretch of school holidays can be a hard task. To beat the boredom, why not get them involved in the activities at The Briars?
At the Eco Living Display Centre on Monday, January 16, kids can learn how to create a dream catcher using materials that so many of us with kids have in abundance in our homes – ribbons, buttons, shells and feathers.
On Thursday, January 19, kids can create a crazy creature using native seed pods. They can get creative with the wild shapes and textures of native seed pods while learning a little about our native plants.
Parents are welcome to stay and visit the house and garden where they can get some tips on sustainable living, book in for one of the Mornington Peninsula Shire’s free energy efficiency consultations or simply enjoy a cuppa in a beautiful location.
All materials are supplied. Refer to the ad for all booking details.
