Here’s one for all the thrill seekers out there.
It’s fast, it’s fun and it’s like flying and swimming combined.
We are talking about flyboarding – a worldwide craze that has just hit the Mornington Peninsula.
With a water-jet powered board attached to your feet, you can soar above the water and dive under it like a dolphin.
Be the first to experience the rush of flyboarding with Peninsula Flyboard, which commences operations from the southern end of Frankston pier this month.
Flyboarding is similar to learning to ride a bike, water-ski, surfing, skating or any activity that requires a little balance.
The rest of the world has already been blown away by this crazy, exciting and futuristic phenomenon.
When you can do something as unique as hovering 10 metres above the water and then flipping, diving and shooting back into the air, it’s no wonder people are quickly getting hooked.
Peninsula Flyboard is offering an introductory price of $149 for half an hour.
Lifejacket, helmet and wetsuit will be provided, plus there is a 10 minute safety briefing before your 30 minutes on the water, where you will learn basic steering and control of the flyboard.
