On April 28 there is nowhere else you’d rather be. Priority One presents On The Map 2018 – a festival of local creativity showcasing the talent nestled within the Mornington Industrial Estate.

Precinct partner venues have forged a unique program of experiences, exhibitions, performances, open studios and workshops to immerse both locals and visiting friends and family in what makes the Peninsula thrive.

Experience the sights, sounds and tastes of local makers between 8.30am-4.30pm. With a plethora of open studios offering a glimpse of the design process behind the scenes, be captivated by drawing, sculpting, Indigenous art, jewellery making, furniture design and photography.

Scheduled live music, dance and street theatre will highlight some of the best inspirational creatives the area offers. Stay tuned to social media for all the program timings.

Local schools and colleges will stage musical talent and up and coming film makers will help tell the story of the event and those collaborating by documenting the day.

A roaming hop-on/hop-off bus will guide visitors through the program circuit. Or guests can drive to create their own ideal day out. Why not breakfast, brunch or lunch as you explore at any of the participating cafes – Pala Cibo, Commonfolk, Cafe Thirteen83 or Cyco Motorcycles Café.

The countdown begins.
