Police have impounded a Dandenong North man’s car after he was found driving while unlicensed in Frankston on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were patrolling the Olivers Hill carpark when they noticed an unregistered Ford. They spoke to the 21-year-old driver and examined his vehicle, which was found to have three bald tyres.
The car was impounded and the driver is expected to be charged on summons for traffic offences. His three passengers – a 20-year-old Mickleham man, a 24-year-old Mildura man and a 24-year-old Keysborough man – were all given penalty notices for breaching the Chief Health Officer’s directions.
