A Peninsula love letter in a box

Founder Kathryn Wight, a third-generation local, was enjoying lunch at a Peninsula winery when the idea struck her.  Surrounded by vineyards and inspired by the growing number of local wineries, distilleries, craft breweries and artisan producers that have emerged over the past decade, she realised the Peninsula deserved to be shared in a more tangible way.

Fast-forward five years and her business is thriving, connecting locals and visitors alike with the best of the region through thoughtfully curated hampers presented in luxurious gift packaging.

“What makes it so special is that every product in our hampers tells a story,” Kathryn said.  “They’re home-grown, handmade and full of heart.  People really respond to that, and supporting good-quality local produce and their creators is a priority for consumers.”

Each hamper is carefully curated to include goods that reflect the spirit and craftsmanship of the Mornington Peninsula.  Whether it’s small-batch skin care, handmade preserves or estate-grown wines, the focus is always on authenticity, quality, and local connection.

“It’s such a rewarding business to be in,” Kathryn said.  “People love to give beautiful, thoughtful gifts, and people love to receive them.  Our hampers fulfil both, while also supporting small, independent makers.”

With an expanding range and plans to include even more local producers, Mornington Peninsula Hampers continues to grow – one heartfelt gift at a time.
