The cyclist killed at Shoreham yesterday morning was a 41-year-old Shoreham woman, Victoria Police confirmed this morning. Her name has not yet been released.

The woman was apparently struck by a car as she cycled along Frankston-Flinders Rd about 10.10am yesterday. Police spoke to the vehicle’s driver, a 61-year-old Mont Albert woman, but no charges have been laid. Their inquiries are continuing.

Witnesses to the accident, including anyone with dash cam footage, are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
