The District Kitchen provides a modern and welcoming environment for those who require a purpose-built commercial kitchen without all of the overheads and hassles. This innovative idea was developed in 2020 by husband-and-wife team Lauren and Ryan Murphy.
In an effort to support the hospitality industry, The District Kitchen provides the ultimate flexibility because it’s open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for one team at a time. It came to fruition after Lauren became frustrated by the bureaucracy and inability to get the kitchen in a rental property registered for her baking and gourmet hamper business in 2017. Knowing she wasn’t alone, she yearned for a better way to help her fellow foodie creators succeed – and she’s done it.
