The sixteenth annual Jeep Portsea Polo will descend on the stunning Mornington Peninsula on Saturday 9 January, 2016. 

The event will again be the hottest ticket of the summer, with the who’s who of Australia’s social scene joining locals and world-class sponsors, Jeep and Peroni, to watch the fastest growing spectator sport in the world.

Hosted at the Point Nepean Quarantine Station, the Jeep Portsea Polo will feature three thrilling matches showcasing some of the world’s best players from Australia, New Zealand and Argentina.

The Jeep Portsea Polo has continued to attract high calibre Australian and International talent with past guests including the likes of Whitney Port, Lara Bingle, Harry Kewell, Jessica and Ashley Hart, Chris and Rebecca Judd, Kris Smith and Ruby Rose.

Anna Bamford, star of Channel 10’s Wonderland, and Melbourne-based Neighbours actress, Olympia Valance are the new faces of the 2016 Jeep Portsea Polo Marquee, whilst an array of Australia’s brightest sporting stars are set to make the drive along Port Phillip Bay to Portsea. 

Corporate guests will enjoy custom menus crafted by some of Australia’s best chefs with the 2016 event showcasing Ian Curley of the European at the Polo Club Point Nepean Marquee while Mamasita will deliver a spread of authentic modern Mexican dishes in the Mamasita at Portsea Polo Marquee.

Jeep Portsea Polo is also excited to announce that international DJ Hot Dub Time Machine, will be the official closing act at this year’s event.  The time travelling dance party sensation will be touring across Australia for Stereosonic before wrapping up the summer party season, seaside at Jeep Portsea Polo. 

Since 2001, the Portsea Polo has been bolstering the local Peninsula economy through an increase in accommodation, retail and food and beverage, with over 64,000 people attending the event since its inception. 

With over 6,000 guests expected to descend on Portsea, those wanting to attend are advised to purchase their tickets early to avoid disappointment.
