Turning on to new technology by Liz Rogers

If you’re feeling a tad left behind technology wise, then Off2On can help.

This tech savvy business, operating out of Mount Martha, tutors people who find themselves wanting to use their iPad, desk top computer, tablet or smart phone - but need help getting started.

Veronica Wright is a professional librarian and has a BSc. and Graduate Diploma in Information Systems Management. After spending years working in local libraries she realised that seniors were sometimes struggling with using technology. She also realised that well-meaning family members bought devices for their parents or grandparents who didn’t understand how to use them properly.

Enter Off2On.

“I give one-on-one (or group) sessions in how to get started on a device so users can become confident and competent. There are lots of people who want to embrace technology but just need that initial bit of coaching. That’s where I come in. I specialise in complete beginners and take the time to go through device usage step by step. No pace is too slow and no question is too silly!”

Off2On will show you how to email, search the internet, how to take, share and organise photos plus navigate Facebook, Skype and eBay. Veronica will also show you how to play games or listen to music and provides instruction booklets you can refer to.

“I get real satisfaction in empowering people to feel connected and part of the technology age.”

She is also happy to travel anywhere on the Peninsula. Switch on today.
