Raised on love from paddock to plate

Three generations on, Eddie and his wife Sally at Hillock Downs are committed to producing the best beef made by nature in providing locally grown beef for you.


“Our cows are all grass-fed, including irrigated lucerne fodder which is grown right here on the farm,” Sally says.  “There are no hormones or antibiotics used on our animals and they are all treated with love.

“All our beef is aged for a minimum of two weeks and comes vacuum-packed.  We grow all our vegies, we use no chemicals and no manure on the garden. You will also find in the Hillock Downs Produce Store jars of delicious preserving products that are also made on farm.

“We pride ourselves on the fact that everything you see and touch is produced and made right here on the farm.  We are open Fridays from 9.30am-4pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-4pm, so come down and say hello and meet us, the farmers.”
