Tell us a bit about you and what you do:
I’m a busy mum to our 5 year old daughter Ruby and a photographer. My days are spent doing kinder drop-offs/pickups, facilitating play/social dates at ours for Ruby and her friends, photographing and editing in between.
I specialise in children and families and I absolutely love what I do. With a background in Interior Design, I also love to photograph and style interiors and products as well as kids fashion editorials shoots. I find the possibilities for creativity are endless with photography and I feel as though it has made me see the world and people so differently.
With all the jobs Ive had over the years I feel the most content and fulfilled with where I am right now.
Describe your style:
I love simple and classical but with pops of colour to keep it fun and happy. I like modern with a twist of vintage. But always colourful. With clothing and furniture I love beautiful design but I think it’s so important to keep things practical especially with kids.
We don’t have one designated play area in our home but sprinklings of evidence that children reside here. I want it to feel like a home.
Do you think Mornington Peninsula style/fashion has a certain look or feel?
I think Mornington Peninsula style is fun and relaxed and unpretentious. I think great style is when you look great because you feel great and you are comfortable in what your wear.
What are a couple of your favourite blogs or websites and why?
Some of my favourite bloggers are Madebylon and Courtney Adamo. Both beautiful creative mamas with amazing style. I am so inspired by Courtney Adamo, mother of 4 young children who has recently decided to take a “gap year” and travel the world with her family. So brave. I absolutely love that.
Can you tell us one or two of your fave local spots?
Store Fifteen, She & Little, DOC, Page 8, Greedilulu and I love spending Saturday mornings at Tully’s in Mt Eliza picking up fresh produce and flowers for home.
