Local mum, Brodie Harper has been working as a model and TV presenter since she was 19, but most probably know her from her role on Postcards where she has been happily talking up Victorian destinations since 2007.
Tell us about your style:
If you see me down the shops then there is a good chance I will be in active wear, but I am not one of those people who wears workout gear just to grab a coffee! I work out everyday and with a busy schedule and a young daughter, I need to be ready to take my window of exercise-time whenever it comes up. If I'm in active-wear I'm ready! Otherwise I like it to be simple but on trend, so I usually rotate between my three favourite labels, Thurley, Kachel and Jump.
Do you think Mornington Peninsula style/fashion has a certain look or feel?
Yes, incredibly stylish but relaxed.
What are a couple of your favourite blogs or websites and why?
My own blog.. haha bybrodie.com This is just something I do for me. There's fashion, wellness, travel and anything I am into basically. Other than that I am usually reading wellness blogs and recipes online.
Can you tell us one or two of your fave local spots?
Picknics Cafe in Rye is a place we featured on Postcards recently that is fast becoming a favourite. Also the Barn & Co. in Balnarring. It is run by a husband and wife team and he is an amazing chef and she has the best design eye, so the place and the food are just spot on.
As far as shops go, I love the newly opened Mynd Interiors in Frankston which is from the same owners as Mirror Mirror, the fashion boutique (also in Frankston).
